Audit I.T.

Secure Data I.T. operate an end-to-end audit and certification process which protects both client and Secure Data I.T. as a mandatory requirement.

Secure Data I.T. recognises that in many cases IT and FM departments do not have the time or resource to carry out an audit of equipment. In these instances Secure Data I.T. will attend site and complete this audit on behalf of the client.

Upon receipt of a purchase order the following process will take place.

  1. Arrange for collection
        a. Labour will be provided on the client site
        b. Our project manager will be on site to supervise the collection
  2. Receive goods into Secure Data I.T. store
  3. All equipment is checked in and uploaded into our systems:
        a. Description of item
        b. Quantity
        c. Brand
        d. Model no:
        e. Serial no:
  4. Each item is then identified for purpose as agreed with the client
        a. Store and draw down
        b. Resale of used equipment on behalf of the client
            (Revenue Share Partnering Program)
        c. Recycling
        d. Charity - any item release to charity go to a live project
            and not put into store
  5. All hard drives are data wiped and securely destroyed
  6. All items are then broken down into recycling components
  7. Each item has a unique code for auditing purposes
  8. We offer a store and draw down facility dependent on the clients requirements - equipment/components are uploaded onto a secure dedicated online service for future recall.
  9. We do not transfer any items to third world countries as we cannot guarantee or confirm the methods used in their disposal.
  10. The client can request retrival of an item during our process subject to 24 hours notice.
  11. The client receives a audit log coupled with Secure Data I.T. certificate which must be retained by client and supplier for a minimum period of seven years
